MTP
MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) is the new camouflage used by the British Military. The pattern was devised by the army's PECOC programme. The pattern is a lighter version of DPM (disruptive pattern material) previously used by the british military. The pattern was rushed in to service as there was a demand for it in theatre in Afghanistan. The first operation it was used in was Operation Herrick (the name for all British operations in Afghanistan).
Although MTP is not commercially available (except for some early prototypes) we expect it to start being sold by the MOD by the end of 2012.
