This pocket-size Lansky Dual-Grit, Multi-Purpose Sharpener is ideal for sharpening lawn mower blades, machetes, hatchets, axe blades, shovels and spades plus a variety of other cutting and chopping tools. The contoured design is unqiue to the Lansky Puck and aides control of the sharpener, usually the stones are flat. This has two benefits, would is better control and ergonomics for your hand and the other allows you to sharp things with a contour easier (like curved axe heads) With both 280 & 120 grits you can get a great tool edge on things like axes and machetes. Dual-Grit design provides a coarse side for quick cutting and shaping, and a medium side for final sharpening and finishing of your edge.
