Imacasa Dual Grit Machete & Axe Sharpening Stone 6"

The Imacasa tool sharpener is great for machetes and axes. It's dual grit silicon carbide is great for putting an edge on a dull tool. It's also a great size for carrying around. The dark grey side is coarse and the light side is fine. It's recommended to start sharpening with the dark side and move on to the light. 

Tool Sharpener Usage Guide

1. Utilise the Dark-Course side for severely dull or damaged edges, and opt for the Light-Fine side to maintain or refine an already sharp edge.
2. Ensure the tool sharpener stone is securely placed on a flat surface. (While not mandatory, it's advisable to lubricate the Combo Stones- using water is usually adequate.)
3. Observe the bevel angle of your blade and align it with the sharpening angle on the stone.
4. Apply gentle pressure as you glide the blade's edge across the stone in a single motion, as though slicing a thin layer from its surface. Consistency in angle is crucial for optimal results.
5. Repeat the process 3-4 times on one side of the blade before switching to the other side and repeating.
6. Continue this cycle until the edge is a sharp as you need.
7. Remember to clean your tool sharpener stones after each use and store them in a cool, dry location.
