Petromax Charcoal Tray

The Petromax Charcoal Tray is a versatile part of the pro-ft series, giving you multiple outdoor cooking options in one piece of kit. It holds around 14–18 briquettes and can be transported inside the ft6 or larger Dutch ovens with the handles retracted. Thanks to the ventilation holes, it also works as a practical chimney starter, quickly turning charcoal into embers for cooking.

Its 23.5 cm diameter makes it the perfect base for Dutch ovens such as the ft6 and ft9, and it can also be combined with the Lid Holder pro-ft to turn a Dutch oven lid into a frying pan. By adjusting the tray’s height, you can control cooking temperature with ease. Alternatively, pair it with the Grilling Grate pro-ft to set up a compact grill over hot coals.
