A simple very knifeI have a few different mora knifes and for the price of this you really can't go wrong for every day use. I have used mine for around 6 years and I clean it and sharpen it now and again but that's all I do. Mine has been well used banged around and it's got a few scratches but it's still gets as sharp as it comes from out of the box. Now the heavy duty stainless mora companion is a better knife but the normal companion for the money it a very good knife.

Best knifeAs a scout leader, these are fantastic training knives.
I've used many knives over the years but I still come back to my mora. For the small price of this knife, its punching way above its weight. Whether teaching or just using for your own purpose you can't go wrong here.
The Hi-vis handles with there soft grip, make them easy to handle and track as well as the sheeves. Please be aware sheeves are handed, meaning you have to put the knife in the correct way round or thumbs could be cut when removing knife.
The 2.5mm blade makes it much kinder for small hands compared to the 4mm heavy duty.
The stainless steel blade means they are easier to maintain in regards to looking after the steel itself, but it's slightly harder to put an edge on the blade than the carbon version. With a little bit of extra effort you will achieve the same sharpness.
If your looking to do batten work then go for the heavy duty companion, otherwise this is the go to knife for youPosted on
