This surprised me with the power it puts out. Tried for first time with stacked two ply cardboard 7 layers thick luckily I had also put half inch of wood backing behind it from 10 meters it broke the bolt. Lesson learnt have ordered proper bolt stopper this is not in any shape or form a toy but I am looking forward to using it in ernest when my target arrives.

Bought this as my entry into the crossbow world, I can recommend it very highly for sturdy build quality, ease of use, accuracy and power (wow more power than I thought, not a toy) and also good looks, super super fun and excellent service with shipping and also aftercare from Springfields who gained a customer here. I was considering the more basic pistol models like the Gecko and Mantis but for the extra cost its so worth it, extendable stock and handrail makes it feel like a kind of hybrid between pistol and full size models, but still compact and offered at a very good price. If you are looking to get into the sport I would start here, I am very pleased I chose this as now I believe I would have wanted to upgrade pretty quickly if I had chosen a less powerful model or one without a stock. Happy shooting!

This peace of kit is very well put together and feels sturdy in the hand very nicely thought out and made .
The performance of it it top class very smooth and a lot of power.
All in all I think Anglo Arms have done a top class job with this little beauty and they have raised the bar for quality and performance well done .
