Morakniv Risberg

The Mora Risberg series is a range of practical outdoor knives designed for everyday use in the field. Built with Morakniv’s traditional Scandinavian design, the Risberg range focuses on reliability, simple construction and good cutting performance for common outdoor tasks.

Risberg knives are compact and easy to carry, making them well suited to activities such as hiking, camping, fishing and general outdoor work. Their manageable size and balanced design also make them a good choice for users looking for a dependable first outdoor knife.

Most Risberg models feature a 91 mm blade with a traditional Scandi grind. This grind provides excellent control when carving wood, preparing feathersticks or handling detailed cutting tasks, and it is easy to sharpen in the field. Depending on the model, blades are available in Swedish 12C27 stainless steel or C100S carbon steel.

Stainless steel versions offer strong corrosion resistance and low maintenance, while carbon steel versions take a very sharp edge and are well suited to bushcraft style work. Heavy Duty versions of the Risberg feature a thicker 3.2 mm blade designed to handle tougher tasks such as preparing kindling or heavier carving.

The handles are made from durable polypropylene which performs well in wet, cold or dirty conditions. Their ergonomic shape provides a secure grip and includes a finger guard for added safety. Each knife also features a lanyard hole for attaching cord or paracord if needed.

Every Risberg knife comes with a polymer sheath that uses a secure click lock system to keep the knife safely in place. The sheath can be worn on either the right or left side and can also attach directly to the button on outdoor trousers.
