Mora Amberg Carbon - Black Blade
The Mora Amberg BlackBlade Carbon is a versatile outdoor knife designed for users looking to step up to a stronger and more capable tool for the outdoors. Built for long term reliability, it is suitable for everything from everyday outdoor use to extended trips in forests and mountains. The design balances durability, control and comfort, making it a dependable companion for a wide range of outdoor tasks.
The blade measures 109 mm and is made from German C100S carbon steel produced by C.D. Wälzholz. At 3.2 mm thick, the blade provides the strength needed for tougher outdoor work while still offering good control for carving, food preparation and detailed tasks. The blade is hardened to around 57.5 HRC and finished with a black DLC coating which helps protect the carbon steel from corrosion and reduces reflections.
The blade uses a traditional Scandi grind which provides excellent cutting control and is easy to maintain in the field. The spine is ground square so it can be used with a ferro rod when preparing a fire.
The Amberg features a redesigned handle with a flatter profile designed to suit a wide range of grips. It narrows slightly towards the blade and includes ridges along the spine area to improve control during detailed work. The handle uses a three component construction with a polypropylene core and an outer TPE layer, offering a strong structure with a comfortable and secure grip even in cold or wet conditions.
The symmetrical polymer sheath secures the knife with a click fit design and can be worn on either the right or left side for flexible carry.
Made in Mora, Sweden, the Amberg reflects Morakniv’s long tradition of producing practical knives designed for real outdoor use.
