EK ARCHERY ADDER UPGRADE KIT FAQ

What do the optional upgrades do?

There are now two optional upgrades available for the EK Archery Adder; One upgrades the draw weight to 180lbs and comes with 14 bolts. The other is a magazine upgrade which increases the bolt capacity to 7 and also comes with 7 bolts.

Neither of these upgrades are required however the magazine will increase the time between reloads allowing you to shoot for longer and the draw weight upgrade will allow you to shoot further. 

Can I use a different target? 

Due to the power of the Adder you must make sure you're using a suitable target that will efficiently stop the bolts, It is also recommend to use a backstop which will stop any bolts if they manage to fully pass through the target. 

If you want to use something else as a target then you will need to make sure it is capable of stopping the bolts without being that thick that the bolts get lost inside it.

What bolts can I use with the Adder?

The Adder uses 7.5" Carbon Bolts, Due to the magazine we do not recommend using any other bolts, You also cannot use any broadheads with the magazine as they could cause significant damage to the magazine and/or the crossbow.
