The Morakniv Amberg Compact (S) is a compact outdoor knife designed for precision tasks in the field. Built for hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and general outdoor use, it combines a lightweight format with a strong and dependable construction. The shorter 77 mm blade offers excellent control for carving, fire preparation, food prep, and other detailed cutting tasks while remaining easy to carry on the belt or in a pack.
The blade is made from Swedish 12C27 stainless steel produced by Alleima, offering a good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The Scandi grind with profile ground edge provides controlled cutting performance, while the ground spine allows use with a ferro rod for fire lighting in outdoor conditions.
The handle has been designed for secure handling in all weather conditions. Its slimmer front section and textured grip improve control during precision work, while the TPE handle material maintains grip even when wet or cold. The symmetrical sheath suits both left and right handed users and keeps the knife protected during transport.
