The Mora 511 limited edition is the most affordable knife if Morakniv's lineup. However, don't let that fool you, the blade is still made from the same carbon steel used in all of their knives. It's just a little thinner, it doesn't have a shiny finished spine either. That adds up to one of the best bang for buck knives on our website - it really is razor sharp.

FAQ: Questions we get asked about the Mora 511 2024
What is the difference between the 511 & 546?
The more 511 is carbon, the 546 is stainless. Apart from that (and the colour of the handle) they are identical.
Is the knife full tang?
Almost, the 511 has a rat tail tang, that means the blade protrudes along the inside of the handle to very nearly the end of the handle. It ensures the knife is strong and the blade won't snap under normal use.
Is it suitable for scouts & younger people?
Under supervision of an adult, yes. The knife has a finger guard built into the handle. The handle is also very easy to hold and grip for hands of most sizes. As always, please use with caution and adult supervision.
