Petromax Atago Stove:

Extremely robust and indispensable for outdoor enthusiasts: the Petromax Atago is an unrivalled all-rounder that can be used as a conventional barbecue, stove, oven and fire pit with charcoal briquettes or firewood. With its four basic functions, numerous preparation procedures and cooking methods are possible.

The Petromax Atago can be used in combination with a Petromax Dutch Oven or a Griddle and Firebowl. One simply has to place the cast iron cookware (e. g. Petromax ft1, ft3, ft4.5, ft6 or ft9) on the briquettes of the Atago.

For meals from the pan the Petromax Griddle and Firebowl (fs48 or fs56) can be placed on top of the Atago. Because the Firebowl or Dutch Oven are then completely surrounded by the Atago, the yield of heat is very high.

Furthermore, the Petromax Atago comes with a grilling grate, which serves to transform it in a conventional barbecue. Without the grilling grate, the Atago can be used as a fire pit or in combination with the Petromax Percolator or Tea Kettle for preparing hot beverages.

Thanks to its unique extension-retraction mechanism, the Petromax Atago is ready to use in a blink of an eye. When folded, it has a height of only 14 cm (5.5 in), which makes it space-saving in storage.

Petromax Transport Bag:

The Petromax Transport bag for Dutch ovens is a great way to carry or to store Dutch ovens ft12 and ft18 as well as the Fire Barbecue Grill tg3 or the Petromax Atago. 

The top-quality ripstop fibre makes it particularly resistant and tear proof. The double stitched handles enable an optimal and comfortable carrying.

The bottom of the bag is doubly reinforced guaranteeing great stability. Thanks to its removable bottom, this bag offers an excellent support for your Petromax Dutch Oven. The removable bottom can be easily cleaned with a cloth.

The bag comes with a zipper pocket and two integrated mesh pockets. So you can easily take or store your accessories (e.g. Petromax tinder, hf1 or hf2 blowtorch).

It is also embroidered with the traditional Petromax logo, which has always been synonymous with excellency.

Petromax Atago Griddle Plate:

As a typical Spanish plancha plate, the Atago Griddle Plate is the ideal addition to your all-rounder Atago. Featuring well-thought-out details, the 3 mm thick oiled steel Griddle Plate is made in Germany and delivers great cooking results thanks to different temperature zones.

Extra juicy meat specialities can sizzle away in the centre while you keep grilled vegetables or spicy prawns warm at the edge where the heat is lower, ready for serving. The patina that forms has a natural non-stick effect and improves with every use. Be sure to season your Griddle Plate carefully before using it for the first time.

Once the fire is going the plate heats up very quickly to guarantee fast searing. You can keep the Atago well stoked up by simply adding wood or charcoal through the hole in the middle of the Atago Griddle Plate. Due to its flat design and the plug-in rack, it is easy to stow the Griddle Plate in your car or van, ready for use as a versatile cooking and grilling station on any forest or field excursion.

The Atago Griddle Plate can thus accompany you on any adventure. Thanks to its optimal heat distribution you can cook easily – and every dish will be a delicacy.

Petromax Atago Griddle Grill Insert:

The Petromax Insert is the perfect addition to provide even more variety and characteristic grill stripes during grilling a la plancha on the Atago Griddle Plate. It fits easily into the Griddle Plate or the Cooking Support and adds further functions to your Atago Griddle Plate. While it also ensures that you can place food safely in the middle of the Griddle Plate, it serves as a mini grilling grate and a safe surface for Dutch Ovens and Fire Skillets in the Cooking Support.

The Insert for the Atago Griddle Plate creates typical grill stripes on steak, fillet, and vegetables, while roast potatoes or fried eggs fry on the plancha at the same time. That way, you can prepare a crispy side dish, a savoury barbecue sauce or a starter soup with strong soup ingredients at the same time as sizzling your food on the Griddle Plate. In addition, the Insert for the Atago Griddle Plate can serve as a safe place for your cookware while you continue grilling on the plancha.

With your BBQ and Coal Tongs, you can easily lift the Insert from the Cooking Support or from the Atago Griddle Plate. Then add charcoal or wood through the opening in the middle of the plate or Cooking Support. The Petromax Insert enhances the Atago Griddle Plate with an additional possibility to cook on the Griddle Plate and allows you to prepare safely placed grilled food with typical grill stripes.

The Petromax Cooking Support for the Atago Griddle Plate is your flexible addition for grilling a la plancha: The Cooking Support fits exactly into the opening of your Griddle Plate and ensures that the food remains safely on the plate.

In addition, the support enables direct flame contact to prepare sauces, soups, pan dishes or coffee while your fortifying meal sizzles on the Atago Griddle Plate. With a small Dutch Oven, or Saucepan, you can prepare a barbecue sauce, a savoury starter soup or a spicy side dish. To finish your meal, you can make aromatic coffee with the percolator or wild herbal tea with the small Teakettle.

Even with the Cooking Support in place, you can simply add charcoal and wood through cut-out of the Atago Griddle Plate. The support for the Atago Griddle Plate is made in Germany and is characterized by its high quality. Combine it with the Insert for the Atago Griddle Plate, so that even the smallest cooking equipment stands securely or that the mini grilling grate creates the typical grill stripes on your food.
